We’re 30 minutes away from seeing who will win Sunday Night Football, as the Dallas Cowboys and New Orleans Saints are in a battle currently. After one quarter of action, it was the Cowboys who had the lead at 3-0. The New Orleans offense went backwards a few times due to penalties, and they turned it over on their opening offensive drive when Teddy Bridgewater threw an interception after the intended pass to Ted Ginn Jr. wasn’t hauled in and was free for Chidobe Awuzie to secure. However, they were able to rattle off two field goals to take a 6-3 lead near the mid-part of the second quarter.

Teams traded drives for the majority of the quarter. Both Vonn Bell and A.J. Klein forced turnovers for the Saints defense, and Wil Lutz was able to add a field goal right before halftime to put the Saints up 9-3.

New Orleans will receive to start the second half.
