The New Orleans Saints season is over, but the NFL postseason is still going. In the NFC, there are only four teams remaining that could make their way to the Super Bowl: the Minnesota Vikings, Seattle Seahawks, Green Bay Packers, and San Francisco 49ers. Who do you want to see make it?
Minnesota Vikings - There’s something to the idea of losing to the team that goes on to make or win the Super Bowl. At the same time, it’s fun giving it to Vikings fans by reminding them that they don’t have a Super Bowl win in franchise history.
Seattle Seahawks - Do you want to see more clips of the Marshawn Lynch “Beastmode” run? Because that’s what you’re going to get if the Seahawks make a run of things now that Lynch is back in the Seattle backfield.
Green Bay Packers - Aaron Rodgers is constantly grouped with Drew Brees as an elite quarterback that’s still a tier below the upper echelon like Tom Brady and Peyton Manning. Another ring for Rodgers might start to separate him from Brees, though, when the talking heads debate the greatest quarterbacks of all time.
San Francisco 49ers - The team that constantly gave the New Orleans Saints and their fans heartaches in the 1990s... Want to talk about clips of the Beastmode run? Expect to see clips of the George Kittle completion at the end of the game against the 49ers on a constant loop.
Understand what the question is asking here, though: Who do you want to win the NFC Championship? This is not asking who you want to win the Super Bowl, in the event that this is a different answer. For instance, maybe you want the Vikings to make it to the Super Bowl, only to have their hearts ripped from their chests with a soul-crushing defeat in the Super Bowl. Or maybe you want the Seahawks to represent the NFC, but you’d really like to see Mark Ingram and Willie Snead get a ring with the Baltimore Ravens.
So who do you want to represent the NFC in this year’s Super Bowl? Vote in the poll. Explain in the comments. Send me presents.
