Tom Brady to New Orleans? No, but still more likely than Joe Burrow

But neither are happening.

As we head into the 2020 offseason, the New Orleans Saints currently have a grand total of zero quarterbacks under contract. Drew Brees, Teddy Bridgewater, and Taysom Hill are all free agents (the latter a restricted free agent) and could theoretically all leave for a different team in 2020.

The free agent quarterback class is incredibly deep as it stands now, beyond the likes of the Saints trio listed above. Dak Prescott of the Dallas Cowboys, the resurgent Ryan Tannehill of the Tennessee Titans, Jameis Winston and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, and Philip Rivers of the Los Angeles Chargers are all free agents. But so too is the undisputed GOAT at the quarterback position when it comes to championship rings: Tom Brady of the New England Patriots.

At TopBet.eu, you can view current Futures Bets for the 2020 NFL season. An intriguing bet available right now is on the future landing spot of Tom Brady. Obviously a return to the New England Patriots is the favorite, with any team in the AFC coming in next, but before retirement, they have the odds that it’s more likely Brady plays for a team in the NFC.

TopBet doesn’t break down the odds that Brady were to sign by individual teams, but it’s a long-shot Brady signs in the NFC at all, let alone for the New Orleans Saints. But it’s even more of a long-shot the Saints pull off a trade for Joe Burrow, and that hasn’t stopped LSU/Saints fans from advocating for the Saints to trade up with the Cincinnati Bengals.
