New Orleans Saints fans have earned a reputation over the past few seasons, particularly after a certain lack of a pass interference call in the 2019 NFC Championship Game. Well, at least we thought they have.
A certain list hit Twitter on Tuesday morning, one that ranked each NFL fanbase by how much they complain. And this list has the Saints at 23rd???

This, to me, is unacceptable. This is a fanbase that, after the aforementioned missed pass interference against the Rams, had over 750,000 loyal supporters signed a petition demanding the game be replayed. A fanbase that showed up to the very next home game decked out in zebra stripes to mock said referees. A beautiful, complaining fanbase that bought a billboard in the city of their bitter rivals to complain about a game that said rivals weren’t even a part of!
Speaking about said rivals, how is it that the Atlanta Falcons are listed as the 10th team on this list?? First of all, the Falcons don’t have enough fans to complain about anything!

THIS is the fanbase that’s supposedly complaining more than us? This fanbase doesn’t even show up to enough games to know what to complain about. They’re probably all off watching the Cobb County Braves blow another playoff series or remembering what life was like when they had a hockey team. Go ahead, Atlanta, brag about how your city just won a title in the 21st best soccer league in the world. That’s where you’re best.
Saints fans only being at #23 on this list is an absolute outrage, and I can only assume that the 5,000 people in this survey either don’t have a twitter account or are just so sick of listening to Saints fans rightfully complain about being screwed over as often as we are, that they decided to put us low on this list out of principle. Regardless of the reason, it’s hard and clear what we need to do more.
Keep complaining, Saints fans. Complain harder and better than you’ve ever done before. What good is a fanbase if we aren’t ruthlessly hated by every other fanbase in the league for rightly yelling at any and all transgressions that fall slightly against us?
I hope to see improved rankings next year, Saints fans. And if not? Then complain more.
