Saints vs Panthers Wednesday injury report: Michael Thomas dealing with a hamstring

It appears our star receiver is still gimpy.

NFL: NFC Wild Card-Minnesota Vikings at New Orleans Saints Derick Hingle-USA TODAY Sports

Not practicing for the Saints were T Terron Armstead (Hand), G Nick Easton (Concussion), WR Bennie Fowler (Shoulder), and S J.T. Gray (Hamstring).

WR Michael Thomas (Ankle/Hamstring) and CB Justin Hardee (Hamstring) were limited. The Hamstring is new news on Michael Thomas’ injuries. While the disciplinary action is over with Thomas, Sean Payton wouldn’t say if he would play on Sunday. The hamstring could play into this as well as the ankle.

CB Janoris Jenkins (Shoulder) and WR Deonte Harris (Hamstring) were both full. WR Marquez Callaway filled in admirably as the returner and Harris may be used more as a pure wide receiver.

Limited for the Panthers were CB Donte Jackson (Toe), DT Zach Kerr (Toe), G John Miller (Ankle), and WR Curtis Samuel (Knee).

CB Eli Apple (Hamstring), RB Trenton Cannon (Neck), and RB Mike Davis (Ankle) were all full.
