Michael Thomas was set to come back from an injured ankle.
Then he injured his hamstring and his status for Week 7 looks “iffy” at best.
But that’s OK, at least Emmanuel Sanders has looked to start clicking in the New Orleans Saints offense, right?
Wrong.
Saints are placing WR Emmanuel Sanders on reserve-COVID list, meaning he will be out for Sunday’s game vs. Panthers, per source. Issue is he practiced Thursday and now must quarantine.

Sanders is a week removed from his best game of the season as a member of the New Orleans Saints, and has averaged over 100 receiving yards the past two games.
Now, the Saints will instead have a group of wide receivers for the Carolina Panthers that is likely headlined by Tre’Quan Smith and Marquez Callaway. This is less than ideal to say the least.
Expect big things from Alvin Kamara, Jared Cook, and possibly even Taysom Hill in the passing game this week, but just went the Saints offense finally started to look like it would be at full strength, of course something comes in the way.
