CSC Staff Picks Week 8: Saints expected to handle Nick Foles and the Bears

With the 2020 NFL season now entering Week 8, we’re continuing our new weekly bit where some of the staff here at Canal Street Chronicles tries to pick winners and losers for every NFL game each week.

In Week 7, there were plenty of upsets and surprises across the league, but at least one thing is consistent: the Atlanta Falcons are gonna Failcon. While the CSC staff was mixed last week on Atlanta’s ability to beat the Detroit Lions, they’ve largely changed their ways this week, with only Christopher thinking the Falcons could beat Teddy Bridgewater’s Carolina Panthers.

Sticking within the NFC South, the entire CSC believes the New Orleans Saints will beat Nick Foles and the Chicago Bears, but they’re also unanimous in their thoughts Tom Brady and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers will beat the New York football Giants.
