The XFL is officially underway, and it’s been largely viewed as a success after the first week, especially when compared to the first attempt at the XFL.
Yesterday's debut @xfl2020 game between the Seattle Dragons and DC Defenders averaged 3.3 million viewers, according to ESPN.— Front Office Sports (@frntofficesport) February 10, 2020

Were you one of the 3.3 million viewers of the XFL’s inaugural game? If not, did you watch of the XFL’s opening weekend? Do you have a rooting interest in any team so far?
The XFL is comprised of only eight teams over a ten-week season. Here are the eight teams, with any subtle ties each might have to the Saints:
Dallas Renegades - Saints’ former second round pick, Hau’oli Kikaha is a starting linebacker for the Renegades
Houston Roughnecks - To New Orleans, probably the closest team geographically
Los Angeles Wildcats - Head coach Winston Moss was the linebackers for in New Orleans from 2001-2005
Seattle Dragons - If you were paying attention, this is the team that was going to roster, and then released, Super Bowl champion kicker Garrett Hartley
DC Defenders - Defenders’ receiver Simmie Cobbs was signed off the Washington practice squad by the Saints in December of 2018, only to land on IR one month later
New York Guardians - Joe Horn, Jr., the son of Saints legend, Joe Horn, is a starting wide receiver for the Guardians
St. Louis BattleHawks - Receivers coach Az-Zahir Hakim played for the Saints in 2005, catching 34 passes for 489 yards and two touchdowns
Tampa Bay Vipers - Head coach Marc Trestman was one of Sean Payton’s advisors during the first portion of Payton’s time in New Orleans
