Saints 2019 Year in Review: Malcom Brown

DT Malcom Brown was drafted by the New England Patriots in 2015 with the 32 pick. Played for them for 4 years acquiring 2 SB rings along the way. The Patriots decided not to exercise his 5th year option and the Saints signed him to a 3 year, $15 million dollar deal in 2019.

In 2019 he played in and started 16 games during the regular season, recording 34 tackles, 18 of them solo, five quarterback hits, two sacks, one pass defended and one fumble recovery. He had 6 tackles for a loss in rush defense. He also played in our sole playoff game recording a half a sack, assisted in 2 tackles and 1 QB hit.

His AV score has consistently been either 7 or 8 since he joined the NFL and was scored as 7 in 2019.
