The 2020 NFL Draft is inching closer, but the electronic method for this draft - where all team officials are participating separately and remotely - is creating uncertainty for the NFL world.
Will teams with limited opportunities to scout players be more aggressive in trading up to grab the few players they know? Will trading be more difficult with teams having to coordinate multi-person conference calls?
With all of the uncertainty, it’s always fun to take a look at how odds makers think the draft will fall. Sports Betting Dime, an online resource for betting odds, has produced a full 2020 mock draft using only odds-on favorite picks and players for each selection.
Sports Betting Dime has five trades in the first round, but the New Orleans Saints are not one of them. The Saints stand pat with the 24th overall selection and grab a familiar face, LSU linebacker Patrick Queen.
Other notable names involve LSU WR Justin Jefferson going to the Philadelphia Eagles at 21, Oklahoma LB Kenneth Murray going to the New England Patriots at 23, and the Indianapolis Colts trading up to draft Utah State QB Jordan Love 22nd overall.
What do you think about the idea of a mock draft using entirely odds? Do you think the Saints could actually draft Queen with the 24th pick? Check out the entire mock draft from Sports Betting Dime. Let me know your thoughts in the comments. Send me presents.
