The New Orleans Saints running back room has brought back another member, this time in four-year veteran Dwayne Washington.
The Saints have re-signed RB Dwayne Washington, who emerged in 2019 as one of their best core special teams players. And depth added in the backfield too.

Washington, originally drafted by the Detroit Lions in the seventh round of the 2016 NFL Draft, became a key contributor to the Saints on specials teams since being picked up off waivers before the 2018 season.
Washington’s value comes primarily on special teams, as he has only 214 rushing yards with the Saints the past two seasons, but he is still a quality depth piece behind a pair of more than capable packs in Alvin Kamara and Latavius Murray.
