The finish line is in sight.

Heading into the final day of the 2020 Draft, the Saints have picked up interior offensive line help, a versatile linebacker and a pass-catching tight end.

After picking up Cesar Ruiz in the first round, the Saints traded up 14 spots to grab outside linebacker Zack Baun. Baun was the 33rd-ranked prospect left after the first round, according the Canal St. Chronicles’ Top 50 Big Board, and the Saints grabbed him at pick 74.

Then, just as you think the Saints are done making moves for the night, they strike again. They moved up to pick 105 by trading the remainder of their draft picks, to grab Dayton tight end Adam Trautman.

They traded picks 130, 169, 204 and 244 to the Minnesota Vikings for pick 105.

Their remaining picks are as follows:

Just because they don’t currently have any day three picks doesn’t mean they won’t be making any selections tomorrow. We know this front office a little bit better than that.

There are plenty of interesting names left on the board. Don’t be surprised if they get back into the action to try and pick one.
