The New Orleans Saints only had two tight ends on the roster in Josh Hill and Jared Cook as they entered day two of the 2020 NFL Draft. One, Hill, has had issues with concussion, and the other, Cook, missed games last season due to injury. If Taysom Hill’s snaps at tight end were going to be reduced, something needed to be done at the position, and pickings were slim in free agency.
Enter University of Dayton’s Adam Trautman. The Saints traded up with the Minnesota Vikings to move up 25 spots from 130 to 105, by sacrificing all three of their remaining selections in the 2020 Draft.
You can read about the pick here, but what grade would you give the move? Vote in the poll. Explain in the comments. Send me presents.
