Fans of the New Orleans Saints have clamored for another wide receiver option to pair with Michael Thomas, and the front office finally listened this offseason and brought in Emmanuel Sanders as a legitimate number two option.
“But who will be the third wide receiver?” You ask.
Could the Saints draft someone like Justin Jefferson? Maybe sign someone like Geronimo Allison?
No, no - even better.
The Saints have reportedly re-signed wide receiver Austin Carr. Contract details are not yet known.
The Saints have re-signed WR Austin Carr. A chance for more development in a system he's grown familiar with over the past three seasons.

That’s right. The same Austin Carr who caught one pass for nine yards in 2019 and 9 passes for 97 yards in 2018. Granted, with such a small sample size, he does technically average one touchdown for every five receptions.
To the point I played any role in this move by jinxing the universe, no need to thank me. You’re welcome.
