The New Orleans Saints were able to end a brief two-game losing streak and clinch their fourth-consecutive NFC South division title at the same time last week. With their 52-33 win over the Minnesota Vikings, eliminating the Vikings from postseason contention, the Saints will have a shot for the top seed in the NFC this postseason - the only seed which receives a first round bye.
This week, the New Orleans Saints face their division rival Carolina Panthers. While the Saints will need a little bit of assistance from both the Seattle Seahawks and the Chicago Bears this Sunday afternoon if they want a shot at the #1 seed, the Saints will have to keep focused on the team in front of them.
The Panthers and Saints game, just like the Seahawks/49ers and Bears/Packers, kicks off Sunday afternoon.
