Saints 7 Bears 3: 2nd half game thread

The Chicago Bears win the toss and defer. The New Orleans Saints start at the 25. Drew Brees completion to Michael Thomas for 5. Incomplete to Adam Trautman. 3rd and 5. Brees to Thomas for 13 and the 1st. Alvin Kamara rushes for 8. Screen to Deonte Harris for 1. 3rd and 1. Brees hands off to Taysom Hill who rushes for the 1st and more. Brees is forced out of the pocket and manages to hit Trautman for a 4 yards. Kamara picks up 2. 3rd and 4. Brees is forced out of the pocket under heavy pressure and is forced to throw it away. Thomas Morstead punts it away. Would have been a 56 yard fieldgoal attempt. The Saints decide to play field position.

The Bears fair catch at the 8. Screen for a couple. They rush for 3 more. 3rd and 5. Mitch Trubisky almost throws an interception. Bears punt.
