Kamara and Winston shine against Washington Football Team

The Saints managed to overcome two first quarter turnovers and scoring two fourth quarter touchdowns to seal a victory over the Washington Football Team. Jameis Winston managed to to hit two long touchdown passes, one coming on a Hail Mary at the end of the half to Marquez Callaway. Alvin Kamara also turned in his best performance of the year, along with Marshon Lattimore locking down one of the best wide receivers in the NFL in Terry McLaurin.

STUD: Alvin Kamara

Alvin Kamara turned in his first 20+ point performance of this fantasy season, doing so by scoring a pair of touchdowns and gaining over 100 yards from scrimmage. Kamara bounced back from his first career game without a reception by catching 5 passes for 51 yards and a touchdown. Week 5 was Kamara’s first multi-touchdown game of the year, and his second score of the day sealed the win for the Saints. The Saints have a bye next week, so you will need to find a replacement for Kamara in Week 6. However, Kamara will have two good matchups against the Seahawks and Falcons after the bye week, so expect similar production from Kamara going forward.

dud: Terry McLaurin

Marshon Lattimore had another great performance on Sunday, holding his former college teammate to just 4 catches for 46 yards. McLaurin is one of the better receivers in the league, but Lattimore held him to his lowest fantasy output of the season. McLaurin is easily a WR1, and this performance should not give you any need to worry about him going forward, it was just an even better performance by Marshon Lattimore.
