After a shocking loss to the New York Giants last week, the New Orleans Saints traveled to FedEx field this week to take on the Washington Football Team. From the start of this game, I felt as if this game would go entirely different from last week’s disaster, and boy was I right. Let’s take a look at how the rest of the Who Dat Nation felt about yesterday’s win in DC!
HAIL MAR...QUEZ!

Winston launches a hail mary to Callaway for a 49-yd TD at the end of the half - WOW! #WASvsNO | : CBS pic.twitter.com/IR7AttiRpT
Alvin Kamara's description of Jameis Winston right before the final TD: "We knew we had it. Jameis knew we had it before the snap. He came into the huddle yelling at me like 'Let's fucking go!' I was like 'what's wrong with you?!' But I didn't know he (already) had the play."

Final #Saints thoughts:
— Maddy Hudak (@MaddyHudak_94) October 10, 2021
- Marshon Lattimore’s Prove ‘Em Right season doing amazing, sweetie
- Pete Werner rocks
- Winston largely won this game, and his response to his turnovers said more than enough for me.
- MT and Onyemata I am begging you
- Gillikin might be MVP in this win
I'm beginning to think the Saints just need to let Jameis Winston throw nothing but bombs -- on every play.

A few weeks ago, Winston told the media that it was “God’s plan” on a risky TD pass to Marquez Callaway. Well, after a wild Hail Mary resulting in a TD before the half, Twitter definitely agreed that Winston’s success was indeed just that: God’s plan.
Hail Mary. When Winston throws to Callaway it’s all in Gods hands

Jameis Winston's Hail Mary was successful. God's Plan!

I’m willing to live with God’s plan at this point. Holy Winston

After a fun game in Washington, the Saints are heading into their bye week 3-2. After technically a two week break, the Saints will be coming back with Michael Thomas and hopefully some other key players on offense. For now, happy victory Monday and I will see you all back here in a few weeks with more social media reactions after the Saints take on the Seattle Seahawks!
“Oh yeah, that was the spot that we practiced on. Callaway made an amazing play, but on plays like that all the glory – period – all the glory belongs to God, period. Man, that was awesome to get some momentum to head into the half.”
