New Orleans Saints linebacker Demario Davis continues to leave his mark in New Orleans on and off the field. Since Week 1, Davis hasn’t missed a single defensive snap. He has become a well-respected leader and as well as mentor for this Saints team, including leading the pre-game chants that were previously done by Drew Brees but his efforts don’t stop there. In addition to other donations that Davis has made to the community including the Hospitality Cares Pandemic Response Fund, it was announced this week that Davis’ Devoted Dreamers Foundation will hold their 1st annual “Dining for Dreams” charity event.

The event will be held on Monday, November 8th at the Hyatt Regency Hotel in New Orleans and will feature a VIP cocktail reception, followed by a three course meal served to guests by some Saints players and local celebrities. There will be a raffle as well as a silent and live auction that will offer guests the opportunity to bid incredible experiences and items to support a great cause. A portion of the proceeds from “Dining for Dreams” will benefit United Way’s Hurricane Ida relief efforts.

Davis said, “The City of New Orleans and it’s surrounding region form a very resilient community and I want to do what I can to make sure we help those in need.”
