CSC’s Fantasy Start/Sit, Saints vs. Seahawks

Saints travel to Seattle for Monday Night Football

Start: Saints D/ST

The Saints D/ST has been a top 10 fantasy unit this season, and now faces an offense missing their starting quarterback and running back. The Seahawks rank middle of the pack in terms of points allowed to D/STs, and now will have to compete against a Saints defense who has had a bye week to get healthy. The Saints D/ST should be started in all leagues this week.

Sit: Alex Collins

The Seahawks backup running back has scored in double figures in two of his last three games, including a 100+ yard performance against the Steelers in Week 6 that saw him score 16 fantasy points. Collins will be the feature back again this week, as Chris Carson has been placed on IR. Collins will get plenty of volume, but he has been dealing with a hip injury all week that has made him questionable for Monday night. He will more than likely suit up for MNF, but if he seems to be bothered by this injury at all the Seahawks may sit him down out of an abundance of caution. The Saints run defense is currently ranked in the top 10 in terms of fewest fantasy points allowed to running backs. Collins is worth a roster spot, as he will be the lead back in Seattle for the next few weeks until Carson returns, but this week you should be able to find a better option.
