New Orleans Saints kicker Wil Lutz will remain out for the rest of the season. Lutz broke the news in a tweet earlier this morning. He congratulated new Saints kicker Brian Johnson on winning the game last night but also stated he experienced a setback in his rehab and will need to be out the rest of the season.

Lutz had core muscle surgery in August and was placed on injured reserve September 6th. He was eligible to return from IR last Monday and did participate in practice last week. It is unclear what happened and when the setback occurred.

The Saints signed kicker Brian Johnson on October 12th. Johnson went 2 for 2 on Monday night against the Seahawks, hitting a 21 and 33 yard field goal.
