Breaking news, the New Orleans Saints are bringing home veteran running back Mark Ingram in a trade with the Houston Texans. The beloved Saint Mark Ingram is reuniting with his buddy Alvin Kamara with the Saints. The deal is reported to involve late-round future picks, a bargain for the Saints to get back their future all-time leading rusher.
The dynamic duo of Kamara and Ingram is back. Ingram now a member of the Saints again is 89 yards away from becoming the Saints' all-time leading rusher. A relationship that should've never been broken is now reunited with a chance to make history. In first place, as it stands right now is Deuce McCallister with 6,096 yards. Ingram is right behind with 6,007 yards.
One of the best rushing attacks in the NFL will be adding Mark Ingram. Lots of pressure has been put on Kamara to carry the offense. He's coming off a game where he accounted for 59% of the offense. The Saints offense is in need of offensive weapons and Ingram will help with that.
The Saints locker room will be filled with excitement that their former teammate is returning. Ingram is currently playing on a one-year deal that he signed with the Texans. The roar he will get in New Orleans when he checks in will be a special moment for the whole city. Everyone in New Orleans is smiling right now, Boom and Zoom are back and with unfinished business!
