The New Orleans Saints have released kicker Aldrick Rosas after a disappointing stint with the team. After multiple missed field goal attempts and most recently a missed 58-yard attempt, the team has moved on. Rosas missed three field goals in the past two weeks.

After the release of Rosas, they have signed Kicker Cody Parkey after a tryout today with the team. With Pro Bowl kicker Wil Lutz still on IR, they have found their new kicker in Parkey. The earliest Wil Lutz could have come back on his timeline was this week but the team decided to wait. We could see him return after the bye week along with many other players. He is considered week-to-week.

Cody Parkey was most recently on the Cleveland Browns during the 2020 season. He is most famously known for his double-doink field goal attempt in the 2018 NFL playoffs for the Chicago Bears.
