The New Orleans Saints are going into today’s game against the Atlanta Falcons with a new starting quarterback: Trevor Siemian. Additionally, rookie QB Ian Book will be active for the first time this season.

- DE Carl Granderson
- WR Ty Montgomery
- TE Juwan Johnson
- DT Montravius Adams
- DT Malcolm Roach
- DE Jalyn Holmes
Montravius Adam, Malcolm Roach, and Jalyn Holmes has been on a consistent rotation on the inactive list so far this season with Holmes being active most recently.
Carl Granderson and Ty Montgomery are out due to injury, TE Juwan Johnson is a surprise inactive for this game. Especially as a team looking for pass-catching help. This could suggest a heavy run focus for today’s matchup against the rival Atlanta Falcons.
The Saints had two questionable players coming into this weekend, rookie Payton Turner and veteran safety Malcolm Jenkins. For the first time this season, defensive linemen Cameron Jordan (who has sacked Matt Ryan more than any individual defender has sacked a specific quarterback), Marcus Davenport, and Payton Turner will all be active together. They’ll continue to be aided on the interior by David Onyemata who returned last week.
Malcolm Jenkins keeps his streaks of games started alive.

DL John Cominsky
OL Josh Andrews
OLB Jacob Tuioti-Mariner
DL Ta'Quon Graham
DL Jonathan Bullard https://t.co/prp68puZHM
The Atlanta Falcons will carry only four defensive linemen into this game with several healthy scratches and Jonathan Bullard ruled out for injury. This could work in the Saints’ favor if they do choose to go run heavy. Not much opportunity for a break in the action for those linemen.
WR Calvin Ridley has been moved to the non-football injury list as he takes time away from football for personal matters.
