The New Orleans Saints (5-3) begin their gauntlet portion of their schedule, beginning with a trip to Nashville to face the Tennessee Titans (7-2).

The Saints are have dealt with injuries all season, most recently news that star wide receiver Michael Thomas would miss all of 2021 and their quarterback, Jameis Winston, is done for the season after suffering a brutal knee injury two weeks ago.

The Tennessee Titans played their first game last week without MVP-candidate Derrick Henry, but were still able to manage a decisive win over the Super Bowl-contending Los Angeles Rams. On the other hand, the Saints, dealing with issues all over the offense, dropped a game they were favored to win against the division rival Atlanta Falcons.

Likely for these reasons, the Saints open as 2.5-point underdogs against the Titans according to DraftKings Sportsbook.

The Saints could possibly be making a move for wide receiver Odell Beckham, Jr. in the coming days, and that could very well move the betting line. Saints fans would surely love to see it happen, but news probably will not break until some time tomorrow at the earliest.
