We are still a couple of weeks away from the NFL Draft and even further away from OTA’s and training camp, yet there are already betting lines and odds for the 2021 MVP race. The power of Vegas baby! has released some prop bets for this category and quarterback Jameis Winston (50/1 odds) and running back Alvin Kamara (66/1 odds) both made the list for the New Orleans Saints.

It’s interesting that Jameis Winston starts off with higher odds to win than Alvin Kamara considering the phenomenal year Kamara had last season with over a 1600 yards in total offense, 21 touchdowns, and a fourth straight Pro Bowl selection. Jameis is believed to have the inside track to start for the Saints this year, but a quarterback battle will ensue will Taysom Hill for the rights to that job. It really shows the high value placed on the position at quarterback in this league.

With that being said it should be no surprise that quarterback Patrick Mahomes is the odds on favorite at 5/1 followed by Aaron Rodgers at 9/1. In fact quarterbacks make up the top 8 slots for favorites to win the MVP this upcoming season. While this individual award is as prestigious as they come, the Saints are looking for the ultimate team award that is doled out at the end of the season and every player is focused on making that dream a reality.
