The Saints traded for Kwon Alexander last season from the San Francisco 49ers, and he ended up being a great fit with the Saints and their team. Later in the season, Alexander suffered a horrible Achilles tear on Christmas Day which ended his season and ultimately led to his release. But now Alexander has been cleared from his Achilles tear and is ready for “football drills” again.

A reunion could be on the horizon with training camp only a week away. The Saints could certainly use the LB depth and starting experience. New Orleans selected Ohio state linebacker Pete Werner in the 2nd-round of the 2021 NFL Draft, and even with 2nd year LB Zach Baun, and of course DeMario Davis, the Saints could absolutely use Kwon Alexander. The chemistry Kwon had in that defense and in the city in New Orleans was perfect, the two sides will try it bring him back.
Kwon has been working out and rehabbing with Dr. Reef this offseason and has made big strides in his recovery process.
Reactive agility work as we close in on training camp. Couldn’t be more proud of these boys and the relentless work they’ve put it all off season! @kwon @Strap_Ent @Keanu_Neal @JoJoBackers @GenoSmith3 #REACTIVEAGILITY #COMEBACKSEASON #athletixrehab @NFL @ESPNNFL #nfloffseason pic.twitter.com/ihY0zCYcUk
