The Saints' future heir apparent for Drew Brees will most likely be Jameis Winston. Brees is known for having very memorable and highlight real-filled games. Winston, a former college football national champion and first overall pick, has had his fair share of big moments on the biggest stage of football. Here are his top five games and moments so far in his career.

5) 2020, Vs Tampa Bay, 56 Yard Touchdown Pass

In Saints fans’ eyes, this is the best moment in Winston’s career. His first-ever playoff appearance happened to be against the franchise that drafted him, and even though he wasn’t the starter, Winston got called upon to make a play, and that’s exactly what he did. The Saints saw a trick play against the Bears and copied it with perfection with Winston. On a double reserve pass, Winston threw a bomb to receiver Tre’Quan Smith to take the lead back over the eventual Super Bowl champs. Even though they fell short of winning the game, this could have been the moment where the touch was passed to Jameis Winston.

4) 2016, @ Atlanta Falcons - 281 Yards - 4 Touchdowns - 31-24 W

In Winston’s second season with the Bucs, he started off his season with an early interception. He battled back, though, by throwing for 281 yards and four touchdowns. Fighting adversity has been a staple of Winston’s career, and he still continues to fight back. This game was an instant classic for Jameis and the Bucs to beat a divisional opponent In Week 1.

3) 2015, @ Phildapheia Eagles - 246 yards - 5 Touchdowns - 45-17 W

Jameis Winston went into Philadelphia and had no mercy, throwing for five touchdowns. He poured it onto the Eagles, scoring four touchdowns in the first half to four different receivers. Winston grew up an Eagle fan and was thrilled to blow out his former team.

2) 2014, BCS Championship, Vs Auburn, 237 Yards, 2 Touchdowns 34-31 W

Jameis Winston led his Florida State Seminoles into the BCS National Championship to play the Auburn Tigers. He led his squad to a national title while throwing for 237 yards and 2 touchdowns, one being the game-winning score. It wasn’t a perfect game for him, only completing 20 of his 35 passes, but it was enough to win. Maybe Winston’s happiest moment on a football field came before he ever stepped onto one in the NFL.

1) 2019, @ Los Angeles Rams - 385 Yards, 4 Touchdowns - 55-40 W

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers went into LA on Sunday Night Football to take on the defending NFC champions and walked out with a “W” because of Jameis Winston's most iconic game. The underdog Buccaneers, lead by Winston, dropped 55 points on the league's best defense. With 4 touchdowns and nearly 400 yards for Winston, it was almost a perfect performance.
