Bold predictions from the Canal St. Chronicles Staff for the Saints vs. Ravens game on Saturday.

NFL: Minnesota Vikings at New Orleans Saints Chuck Cook-USA TODAY Sports

Here are the Canal St. Chronicles staff’s bold predictions for the first Preseason matchup of the New Orleans Saints and the Baltimore Ravens on Saturday.

Me:

  • Saints defense allows 300 passing yards.
  • Deonte Harris returns a kick for a TD.

Chris Dunnells:

  • Each Saints quarterback who takes snaps in the game commits a turnover.
  • Brett Maher misses an extra point and/or field goal.
  • Devonta Freeman has 100+ total yards.

Matthew Terry:

  • Jalen McCleskey leads Saints in receiving yards.

Ross Jackson:

  • Paulson Adebo has an interception.
  • Juwan Johnson catches two touchdowns.
  • Ian Book throws for more yards than Taysom or Jameis.

Gregory Layfield:

  • Ian Book will look good and Twitter will say he’s the second coming of Brees.

Kevin Skiver:

  • Taysom outperforms Jameis
  • Kwon Alexander forces a fumble.
  • Trautman has five catches.

Tina Howell:

  • All three QBs throw a TD.
