The New Orleans Saints have signed wide receiver Kevin White, the former 7th overall pick in the 2015 NFL Draft out of West Virginia. White was most recently on the San Fransico 49ers before being released in September. He spent three seasons in Chicago where he put up 285 yards total in three seasons with the team.
The #Saints are signing veteran WR Kevin White, source said. The former first-rounder worked out in a group today.

The signing comes after a tryout with multiple wide receivers today. Such as Bennie Fowler, Devin Smith, and former LSU star Malachi Dupre. Kevin White obviously impressed during his workout today, to be able to beat all of them out for a contract.
The Saints will try and unlock West Virginia Kevin White, he might be able to crack a spot on the roster at the thin WR position if he stands out. But there are a lot of bodies the team likes and he hasn't be able to show anything yet. He would need to really impress during these last two weeks of the preseason to crack a spot on the team. Most likely a camp body singing, White is hoping to revive his career in New Orleans.
Saints also returned wide receiver, Tre’Quan Smith, today, returning from a minor injury.
