The New Orleans Saints have agreed to terms with free-agent Kicker Aldrick Rosas. Rosas a 2018 pro-bowler, spent last season with the Jacksonville Jaguars where he sat through a four-game suspension. Rosas hit 72% of his field goals last season for the Jags.
The #Saints are signing kicker Aldrick Rosas, per source. As @nick_underhill noted, Rosas had a strong workout and New Orleans needed a solution with Wil Lutz sidelined.

The counter move was releasing tight end, Josh Pederson, son of Eagles head coach Doug Pederson. Rosas will be on the roster for the Saints but he will be also competing with kickers on other rosters, the Saints will keep a close eye on other kickers that may get cut later on. For now Rosas a talented veteran has a chance to take the job in the meantime for Wil Lutz.
Also, the Saints tried out veteran safeties Jeff Heath and Andrew Sendejo.
