[WATCH] Touring the Caesars Superdome

A special vlog live from the Saints vs Jaguars game.

Caesars Superdome was officially “christened” on Monday, August 23 when the New Orleans Saints took on the Jacksonville Jaguars on ESPN’s Monday Night Football in NFL Preseason Football action.

It was a very good night for Saints fans as Jameis Winston gave fans optimism that he indeed is ready to be the heir apparent to Drew Brees, Marquez Callaway gave fans hope that the absence of Michael Thomas will not be as severe as we thought, and the Saints defense continues to look like it will be a top unit in the league this season.

It was also a good night for the simple fact that this was the first night since the coronavirus pandemic started that a full house was allowed inside the Dome, provided you are vaccinated and wear a mask of course.

It was preseason, so the Dome was not filled to capacity and it was no where close to the atmosphere that we expect on September 12th when Aaron Rodgers and the Green Bay Packers come to town in the season opener, but the mood and atmosphere was still festive and the Saints and city of New Orleans showed why there’s not quite any home field experience in the NFL like here in the Big Easy. I mean, JB Smoove started off the game leading the St. Augustine Marching 100 to the field, where else can you get that?

Take a virtual walk with me as I tour (to the best of my ability) the remodeled Superdome as well as some great action shots live from the Saints-Jaguars game including both Jameis and Callaway’s amazing touchdowns.
