Due to preparation for the potential landfall of Hurricane Ida, the New Orleans Saints will have their preseason finale against the Arizona Cardinals at Caesars Superdome cancelled.

UPDATE: due to the impending impact of Hurricane Ida, the Saints-Cardinals game has been canceled https://t.co/q5RTCdQCuV

The most important thing is people’s safety and this is clearly why this move was made. Unfortunately, this probability is all too familiar at this exact point of the preseason for the Saints, as the Gulf Coast has to endure Mother Nature’s relentlessness during hurricane season. Let’s hope this storm winds down and spares anyone in its path, especially the people and their homes. The cancellation of a preseason football game means little in perspective. Stay safe, everyone.
