A “Legendary” move, the New Orleans Saints have re-signed linebacker Kwon Alexander to a one-year deal. They have agreed to a one-year deal worth up to $3 million dollars, the deal comes on his birthday. A low-risk, high reward signing for the Saints, the deal looks to be structured to be performance-based.
Free-agent linebacker Kwon Alexander and the Saints have agreed to a year deal worth up to $3 million, @DrewJRosenhaus told ESPN. Alexander played with the Saints last season and is an LSU alum and he lands in New Orleans today, his birthday.

Kwon will come in and add depth and starting ability to now a strong linebacker room. Teaming back up with star Demario Davis, the Saints also have been impressed with rookie Pete Werner and 2nd-year LB Zach Baun has made some strides. He will have to compete but the duo of DeMario and Kwon are back together. Saints fans are thrilled that Kwon is back but, no one is happier than Demario Davis.

It's exciting to have him back but the main reason he was released was because of his health. Reports are saying he has looked great in his recovery. If he is healthy it is a huge upgrade to the defense and team. The first preseason is August 14th and he is looking like he will be good to go.
Just received a text from @doctor_reef on Kwon Alexander

“Kwon’s been looking incredible. No restrictions, stronger and arguably faster and more explosive than ever! He’s ready to go!” #Saints
I'm only hearing positive things about Kwon Alexander's health
