The 2021 Saints season comes with just as much excitement as uncertainty

The Who Dat Nation is ready.

NFL: Tampa Bay Buccaneers at New Orleans Saints Chuck Cook-USA TODAY Sports

For the first time since the 2006 season, the New Orleans Saints will not have Drew Brees on the roster. With no clear leader yet in the quarterback battle, a wide receiver corps that is mostly unproven and some big losses on the defense, Saints fans have reasons to be concerned. But you would not know that judging from the excitement of fans.

The Saints are regularly a trending topic on Twitter (even in the offseason), with some of the most active and entertaining accounts online. Fans headed out last weekend, in a heat advisory to fill up the bleachers on Airline Drive for the first 2 training camp practices that were open to the public and many have already planned their watch parties and menus for the first preseason game, next weekend against the Baltimore Ravens.

In just a few short months, there have been a lot of changes. We are only 10 days away from the first preseason game and the Saints roster looks very different, with unfamiliar names and several questions we have yet to get answers to. But no matter what happens this season, it will definitely be exciting and fun. Saints fans are truly invested every single week and that is one thing that will never change.
