While last week we sang the praises of Jameis Winston and the New Orleans Saints, this week is quite the opposite. With a number of factors culminating in an embarrassing loss to the Carolina Panthers, as always, Saints Twitter had a few things to say about how the entire team played. Let’s dive into the reactions of the Who Dat Nation.
The Saints are not as bad as they played yesterday. It was simply a perfect storm of factors throughout the week and on the field.

The defense's problems were the result of multiple contributors all being out. On offense, everything traces back to poor play by the O line.
Only positive i took away from yesterday is that payton turner is the best lineman in the NFL. Other than that, sheesh.

Rookie Payton Turner definitely showed the world why he was drafted by the Saints with his first career sack. In a game full of bad memories, Turner’s standout performance was a positive that this team can take with them into week 3.

Again, I'm hoping he can be the team's QB of the future. But there were a few near INTS that were dropped in this game so yes some of Jameis' decisions have been very concerning.

Y’all really on here thinking this loss was all on Jameis?

Many people attempted to blame this loss on Winston, but there were many more factors that went into this loss. With much of the coaching staff being out due to COVID, a number of starters being out on IR or being evaluated on a week to week basis, and not being able to practice at home for a month, the writing was on the wall for this loss. The offensive line continued to struggle throughout this game which allowed the Panthers defense to pressure Winston all afternoon.
Andrus Peat has been horrible for years. Don’t let anyone tell you any differently

I'm starting a GoFundMe to buy out Andrus Peat contract. My god that man is awful

Next for the Saints is a date with the New England Patriots which is sure to be a fun game. Let’s hope for a complete 180 in terms of how the Saints played yesterday.
