A relatively clean injury report for the New Orleans Saints kicks off Week 1 of the 2021 season. Cornerback Ken Crawley was the only Saint listed, meaning everyone else participated fully.

Ken Crawley has been dealing with an injury over the last couple of weeks. The expectation was for him to be available against the Green Bay Packers. This provides clarity as to the injury itself being a hamstring issue.
If Crawley cannot start on Sunday against the Packers, the Saints would have to turn to either rookie cornerback Paulson Adebo or newly-acquired free agent Desmond Trufant. Bradley Roby will be unavailable due to a one-game suspension he is serving for performance-enhancing substances.
Otherwise, today’s report is good news all around for players that missed practice to wrap up the offseason like rookie DE Payton Turner, WR Tre’Quan Smith, and TE Adam Trautman. This should be viewed as especially good news for Trautman, who was carted off in the second preseason game against the Jacksonville Jaguars.
As for the Packers, S Vernon Scott did not practice, and DL Tyler Lancaster and pass rusher Za’Darius Smith were limited. Smith is a big injury to keep an eye out on throughout the week.
