A potential playoff seeding and preview occurs on Monday Night Football as the Philadelphia Eagles travel to face the Seattle Seahawks. Two dynamic quarterbacks should be dueling against one-another in primetime but both Geno Smith and Jalen Hurts could miss the game. If either were to be absent the opposing team will likely quickly be favored in the game. The line is already close so be sure to keep up with the news around these quarterbacks as the game nears. Each week, Canal Street Chronicles will preview some of the best props and wagers for every Monday primetime game. CSC MNF week 15 props and best bets

Seahawks game line +3.5(-140)

With so many unknowns in this game, it just makes sense to take the points given. Both teams are struggling going into this very important late season matchup. The Eagles have dropped two straight in blowouts while the Seahawks have lost their last four games. Bringing these two teams closer is both teams also having issues with the health of their quarterbacks. Just a few weeks ago, this line probably would have been much larger for the Eagles but they have not proven to be the same juggernaut they were last year. There are too many question marks around this game to be confident in either team, so take as many points as possible going into the matchup.

Jaxon Smith-Njigba over 42.5 receiving yards(-115)

One of the most disappointing aspects for the Eagles this season has been their defense. The Eagles attempt to get back to the Super Bowl will be harmed by their bottom-five passing defense. The Seahawks will need to take advantage of this matchup, especially by using their speedster rookie Smith-Njigba. While the Eagles will focus on taking away D.K. Metcalf, Smith-Njigba should see the weakest parts of the Eagles secondary. Smith-Njigba is beginning to break out and prove why he was a first round draft pick, garnering the most targets of any Seahawks receiver in their last two games. This should continue in a good matchup where he easily goes over 43 receiving yards.

If the game is as close as the odds indicate, D’Andre Swift should see plenty of work this week.

D’Andre Swift over 58.5 rushing yards(-115)

On the year, the Seahawks are one of the worst teams against the rush in the league. They allow 123 yards per game to opposing running backs, which will benefit Swift who is the primary bell cow for the Eagles. Swift is averaging around a dozen rushes per game in the Eagles last month of football. The Eagles have not played well the last two weeks which has neutralized his use in rushing downs. When games are close, Swift has been very good for the Eagles this season, averaging nearly five yards per carry. The game should be competitive on both sides which will allow Swift to go over his rush total.

Long shot of the night

Dallas Goedert anytime TD scorer(+205)

Dallas Goedert has a very favorable matchup on Monday night no matter who is playing quarterback for the Eagles. On the year, the Seahawks are playing cover 3, 4, or 6 over 80% of defensive snaps. These kinds of shells open up tons of underneath options for opposing teams. Goedert will understand these defenses and know how to sit down and be an outlet for his quarterback throughout the game. Another good prop could be Goedert’s reception total which is set at 4.5 for the game. With so much attention going to be given to the other Eagles playmakers, Goedert will have the opportunity to score this week.
