The New Orleans Saints couldn’t get the job done in Los Angeles, but WR Chris Olave reached a very special milestone in the loss. For the second time in his career, Olave has surpassed 1,000 receiving yards in a season.

The Rams couldn’t stop the Ohio State product as he was dominant, hauling in nine passes for 123 yards. The 23-year-old has looked great these past five games, catching 31 passes for 478 yards.

Olave joined an exceptional club, becoming just the 3rd player in Saints history to eclipse 1,000 receiving yards in their first two seasons.

There haven’t been many bright spots on the Saints offense this year, but Olave has been. He’s a route technician who excels at his craft. These smooth and crisp routes allow him to get open with ease.

The second-year player could be looking to make the Pro Bowl for the first time in his career.
