One of the New Orleans Saints most consistent players may not be playing football much longer. ESPN reporter Katherine Terrell reported that Ryan Ramczyk is uncertain about his future due to a cartilage defect in his knee.

The report suggested that Ramczyk wants to keep playing but doesn’t know if he can. He told Terrell, “I feel like I’m not done yet. I feel like I still want to play.” For now, the 29-year-old is going to listen to his doctors and figure out what he wants to do in the offseason.

The former Wisconsin Badger was part of the Saints legendary 2017 draft class. He was the 32nd pick in the first round of the NFL Draft that year. Since then, he’s been a staple OT for the Saints, racking up one first-team All-Pro and two second-team All-Pros. It’s not easy to find a franchise OT, and Ramczyk has been just that.

It’s unfortunate things are going in this direction for Ramczyk, but all we can do is hope for the best.
