Canal Street Chronicles: Saints vs. Panthers Bold Predictions

Here are some bold predictions from the CSC staff for Week 14 of the regular season.

Week 13 was a rough one for the New Orleans Saints (5-7) losing at home to the Detroit Lions (9-3) The Saints are now in 3rd place in the NFC South and after losing 3 straight games, they need to get on a win streak especially if they have hopes of saving this season and making the playoffs.

So, let’s take a look at some of the Canal Street Chronicles staff’s predictions for this week’s matchup.


  • Bryce Young looks like a competent quarterback, throwing for 250+ yards and 2 TD’s
  • Jameis Winston throws for 300 yards, but turns the ball over 2+ times(Assuming Winston starts)
  • Chris Olave goes for 150 yards and 1 touchdown with Winston as the starter.


  • Saints rushing defense gets back on track. Holds Panthers under 75 yards rushing
  • Chris Olave goes for 100+ yards
  • Alontae Taylor gets his first career interception


  • Juwan Johnson redeems himself with a touchdown this weekend
  • New Orleans has two or more rushing touchdowns
  • Saints win by a field goal or less


  • Jameis throws 0 interceptions
  • Saints win by fewer than 2 points
  • Saints return a kick/punt for a TD
