The 2023 NFL regular season is coming to a close and after this week, the NFC South will finally have a champion.

State of the Atlanta Falcons

The Falcons got smoked by the Chicago Bears this past Sunday. The secondary struggled to contain Bears WR D.J. Moore. He had a stellar game with nine receptions, 159 yards, and caught a TD.

The Falcons still have a chance to win the division. They have to beat the Saints and have the Buccaneers lose in order to win the division.

State of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers

The Buccaneers had a chance to seal the division with a home game but failed to capitalize against the Saints. The good thing for the Buccaneers is all they have to do now is beat the Carolina Panthers.

State of the Carolina Panthers

While the Panthers are eliminated from the playoffs, they have a chance to spoil the Buccaneers season. If they were to upset the Bucs, the winner of the Saints vs. Falcons game would win the division. Just three points decided the game the last time these two faced off.

State of the New Orleans Saints

It only took until Week 17, but the Saints looked great on both sides of the ball. The Saints beat the Buccaneers on the road in a must-win game. The Saints can still win the division by beating Falcons and a Buccaneers loss or tie. If not, they’ll need to make the wild card.
